There is really no limit to the many diverse things you can find on a travel assignment in California. California is the most populated state in the US and due to its large size and significant metropolitan areas it is also the third biggest state in regards to size. You could literally invest weeks exploring all the attractions that California has to offer. As a travel nurse or professional healthcare traveler you can book the time to explore some of these places, more so than a short vacation would ever allow.There is never a shortage of things to do and see. Los Angeles is the second largest city in the country, next to the Big Apple. And then there's Hollywood with the "Walk of Fame" as well as a lot of major film studios.
North California offers lots of great things to see and do as well. San Francisco alone deserves at least a weekend to explore. The Golden Gate Bridge, the Cable Cars, Pier 39 and even Alcatraz Island are located in this area.
