Has Texas been calling you? There are so many top facilities and different areas to explore in this vast southern state. Of course, travel nurses and traveling healthcare professionals are in need in markets all across Texas and what a diversity of areas you can pick from.
Beautiful and historic San Antonio can be found in the south of Texas with its Riverwalk and of course, it's home to The Alamo and so much more with its rich colonial heritage. From 19th century mansions, to an 18th century Spanish Mission San Jose, art museums and a botanical garden and the popular zoo, there is so much to explore on your down time in San Antonio. Travel nurse jobs are plentiful with many top facilities located in the area.
The Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex is a commercial and cultural hub of the region. Home to the 171 ft Reunion Tower, Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, Dallas World Aquarium, a large museum district and of course national sports teams. Many of the major facilities are located in his large metropolitan area so of course there are plenty of jobs for the experienced RN or professional healthcare traveler.
Or maybe you are a music fan? Well, Austin just happens to be one of the music meccas in the US and it located in a beautiful area of southeastern Texas known as the Hill Country region. It is the state capital of Texas and also a college town with the University of Texas campus. The live music scene features lots of rock, blues and country in many venues all around the area. There are two large music festivals each year, South by Southwest and Austin City Limits with lots of fun events in addition to great music. Travel nurses are always in need here in this busy market.
I have covered only 3 of the major markets in Texas and there are many more.
